As a Dairy Manager, you will be part of a team responsible for keeping our dairy coolers stocked and rotated with fresh product and our shelves clean and organized. Sales The position’s responsibilities include coordinating, managing, and supporting existing accounts and developing new accounts. The candidate will work closely with our technical and engineering staff to develop new business at existing and potential accounts. Meeting or exceeding assigned annual quotas Communicating strategies to appropriate Business Unit personnel to obtain required support and coordination Developing account and opportunity strategies that maximize sales effort and result in the closure of new clients. Opportunities should be identified and developed within assigned accounts and with new prospects Managing the relationship between Da/Pro and customers by establishing and cultivating relationships with key individuals within territory accounts Ensuring that goals are consistent with Da/Pro’s strategic direction of: (1) maximizing business with existing customers through developing long-term business relationships (2) increasing the awareness of Da/Pro services and representing Da/Pro brand to prospective companies (3) Growing Da/Pro by creating new opportunities within existing customers and developing new customers Developing a clear understanding of Da/Pro business practices including pricing, forecasting, terms and conditions, distribution and code of ethics Effectively communicating activities, opportunities, cases and other information about prospective and current clients

Human Resources Provide HR support to assigned locations to include employment, corrective counseling, job bidding, wage administration, benefits administration, attendance management, recognition program, and HR related training. § Build positive employee and labor relations by proactive employee communication, prompt issue resolution and fair and equitable treatment. This includes support of local and corporate programs to promote employee goodwill and positive morale. § Provide advice assistance and follow-up on company policies, procedures, and documentation. § Provide coaching and counseling to employees and managers as needed. § Coordinate with safety departments to ensure appropriate safety and training issues are addressed § Assist with selection process to include interviewing and making recommendations regarding qualifications § Lead the new employee orientation program and other programs designed to build and retain a competent workforce § Monitor and analyze EEO/AAP compliance § Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements including recordkeeping and documentation requirements § Administer, coordinate, participate, and/or assist with other projects as assigned § Recommend operating policy and procedural improvements § Perform specific research/investigation into operational and HR issues as required. § Provide leadership and daily supervision of HR Staff to establish priorities and focus connected to business objectives.
